IPv4与IPv6的异同点

IPv4 uses 32-bits addressing while IPv6 uses 128-bits addressing. The address space of IPv6 is much larger than that of IPv4, allowing for more IP addresses to be allocated. As the IPv4 address space has been almost exhausted, IPv6 provides a solution with a wider addressing capacity to meet the growing demands of the Internet.
其次,IPv4和IPv6在地址表示形式上也有不同。IPv4地址使用点分十进制表示法,由四个十进制数(每个数范围为0-255)组成,中间用点分隔。而IPv6地址使用冒号分隔的八个十六进制数表示,每个数有四个十六进制位。
